It's a different timeline - 2012-06 brought back 12 months, this is for 24 months. Whether you *need* this, I wouldn't know :-) - this is for the community to say. I'm just here to answer questions and to steer the process. Gert Doering -- APWG chair -- have you enabled IPv6 on something today...? SpaceNet AG Vorstand: Sebastian v. I say keep it simple (and kill 2012-03). With 2012-06 in place we have a 12 months period everywhere. Since IMO we still have to have needs assessment for transfers (to allow for inter-RIR transfers), I think it makes sense to allow organizations seeking a transfer to justify their need over a timeframe that is reasonable for business planning, so I support a change to 24 months for transfers. But either way, what's probably more important is that we adopt an inter-RIR transfer policy. -Scott On Wed, Mar 20, 2013 at 6:40 AM, Sebastian Wiesinger < ripe.address-policy-wg@ml.karotte.org> wrote:

*No* comments have been received that could be interpreted as "support" or "opposition" to this proposal. (There was one question which was answered, and one statement from the proposer on the reason for a new version). Based on this, the WG chairs have decided to extend the review phase by 4 more weeks. Emilio will send the announcement later today or tomorrow. If the amount of feedback we receive during those next 4 weeks stays at this, we'll then proceed to kill the proposal due to lack of interest from the community.
