CORRECTION TO PREVIOUS NOTICE Call for Nominations: RIPE Representative to the ASO Address Council Dear Colleagues, On 30 May 2003, an announcement from our office regarding the ASO Address Council elections incorrectly stated that the deadline for nominations was 3 June 2003. Call for Nominations: RIPE Representative to the ASO Address Council ___________________________________________________________ This is a call for nominations of individuals from the RIPE region to serve on the ASO Address Council. On 31 December 2003, one RIPE Address Council seat will become vacant and will be filled for the next three years by an individual nominated through this open call. RIPE Region Hostcount for April 2003

Dear All, below is the hostcount for April 2003. The table shows an increase since last month of almost 100,000 (or 0,5%) to a total of almost 19,745,000 hosts in the DNS in Europe and surrounding areas. The "no" domain shows the highest increase for April with approximately 156,000 hosts more than in March. Release of ROSIE web site at RIPE 45

Dear Colleagues, The RIPE NCC is pleased to announce the release of the new RIPE On-site Information Exchange, �ROSIE�, at RIPE 45 in Barcelona. The ROSIE web site is accessible only to RIPE Meeting attendees and provides up-to-date meeting information and resources including the following features: � downloadable tools, RFCs and RIPE documents. � information on how to configure laptops to work at the RIPE meeting � last-minute announcements, such as changes to the meeting agenda � a log of any network problems reported � up-to-date network statistics In addition, ROSIE will highlight important news from the registration desk and will provide a list of meeting attendees, including RIPE Working Group Chairs, RIPE NCC staff and RIPE NCC Board Members. Access to ROSIE can be made directly via a special URL to be provided to meeting attendees. This URL can be found in RIPE Meeting packets and at the registration desk.
