I however, had a few other questions for RIPE as a part of this process, but I was at the same time told that apparently? RIPE does not consider it a change of business structure, and thus requires a new LIR account for the internet resources. Is it me that fully misunderstood the policy and specifically section 3.6?
I think that section 3.6 is for resources that still can't be transferred for xx months. And it looks like it's a matter of membership, not resources. You can be a RIPE NCC member as a natural person or as a legal entity. If the member's entity ceases to exist, membership can be transferred to the legal successor. You probably are currently a member as a natural person, and you're still breathing, so your BV needs a new membership. (Please note: I'm not RIPE NCC staff, so I might be wrong) Best regards, Sébastien Brossier
