What We're Doing For You -- LIR Stats Number of LIRs: 23,635 (-69) LIRs with IPv6: 16,127 (-19) IPv4 Addresses Transferred in April: 1,155,968 (-990,336) -- RIPE NCC General Meeting Results Congratulations to Job Snijders and Piotr Strzyżewski for being elected to the RIPE NCC Executive Board. A full voting report detailing the voting numbers is available: https://www.ripe.net/participate/meetings/gm/meetings/may-2021/voting-report The membership adopted three resolutions during the meeting including the RIPE NCC Financial Report 2020, Charging Scheme 2022 and discharged the Executive Board with regard to its actions as they appear from the Annual Report 2020 and Financial Report 2020. -- What Happened at RIPE 82? RIPE 82 took place from 17-21 May 2021 and saw 1,172 people registered, of whom 274 were newcomers, and had an average of 550 viewers per day. You can catch up on the meeting highlights by reading our daily meeting report: https://ripe82.ripe.net/programme/report/ -- Information for Members with Outstanding Invoices The Standard Service Agreement (SSA) and/or LIR Account Agreements (LAA) of members who have an outstanding invoice issued in February 2021 will be automatically terminated on 15 June 2021. On this date, we will also start the de-registration process for the Internet resources held by these LIR accounts. If you would like to check the payment status for your LIR account(s), you can do so in the LIR Portal or by using the payment link on your invoice. Dear colleagues, The RIPE NCC General Meeting May 2021 took place virtually from 19–21 May 2021. A total of 1,469 members cast their votes on three resolutions and in the Executive Board election. Not all members cast votes in all ballots. The following resolutions were approved by the General Meeting: Resolution 1: “The General Meeting adopts the RIPE NCC Financial Report 2020.” Resolution 2: "The General Meeting discharges the Executive Board with regard to its actions as they appear from the Annual Report 2020 and Financial Report 2020." Resolution 3: "The General Meeting approves the adoption of the RIPE NCC Charging Scheme 2022." Executive Board Elections: The following two candidates were elected to the RIPE NCC Executive Board: - Job Snijders - Piotr Strzyżewski A full voting report is available at: https://www.ripe.net/participate/meetings/gm/meetings/may-2021/voting-report Congratulations to Job and Piotr on their election to the RIPE NCC Executive Board. [GM] Executive Board Engagement for the Upcoming General Meeting

Dear members, The RIPE NCC General Meeting (GM) takes place next week. The agenda is finalised and you can see that here: https://www.ripe.net/gm/may-2021/agenda As always, the GM is a good opportunity for us to hear from you on important issues. It also gives you the chance to ask the Board about issues that matter. And for this GM, there are also several ways to interact with those standing for election to become Board members. *Open Mic Slot* The GM agenda now includes a specific open mic slot, during which you can ask questions or share comments on topics not covered elsewhere in the agenda. We feel this has been missed by members in recent years and by adding it we hope to accommodate any topics you wish to bring up. You can also send questions for the GM in advance to <agm(a)ripe.net> and we'll make sure to address them at the meeting. *Charging Scheme Discussion* We have also allotted time to discuss the RIPE NCC Charging Scheme model under Agenda point 7. With this discussion, we are again starting a conversation on the future of our charging model that we hope to continue after the GM and up to the next GM in November. Among the questions to consider ahead of this discussion: - What are the problems you see with the One LIR-One Fee model? - Should charging be based on resource-intensive requests? - Should there be an administration fee for transfers? - Should the sign-up fee be lower to allow easier entry to the market as independent network operators? - Should there be charging related to ASNs or IPv6? Of course, we would also like to see discussion on this topic on the <members-discuss(a)ripe.net> mailing list, which we follow closely. *Interact with Executive Board Candidates* Tomorrow, 12 May at 10:00 UTC, there will be a RIPE NCC Open House where the five candidates will be able to explain why they should be on the Board, and you can pose important questions for them.
