[GM] RIPE NCC General Meeting October 2026 - Draft Agenda

Dear RIPE NCC members, The draft agenda for the RIPE NCC General Meeting (GM) October 2026 is now available at: https://www.ripe.net/s/gm/oct-2026-agenda/ At this GM, there will be a discussion on the RIPE NCC Draft Activity Plan and Budget 2027 and an Arbiter Panel election to fill six seats. There will also be votes on whether to distribute the RIPE NCC 2026 surplus/deficit in 2027 and on proposed amendments to the Articles of Association to change the RIPE NCC Board structure. We also provide a system that allows members to propose their own agenda topics and associated resolutions for an upcoming General Meeting. You can find the agenda proposal system at: https://www.ripe.net/participate/meetings/gm/member-proposals/ There’s also still time to register for the GM - it can be done quickly and easily via the LIR Portal: https://my.ripe.net/#/meetings/active Registered attendees can attend in person and remotely through the meeting platform Meetecho, watch a livestream and vote online. [news] Reminder: Nominations to Fill One Seat on the NRO NC

Dear colleagues, This is a reminder that nominations are open to fill one seat on the Number Resource Organization Number Council (NRO NC). The seat will be filled by appointment by the RIPE NCC Executive Board for a three-year term, from 1 January 2027 to 31 December 2029. The NRO NC performs the role of the Address Supporting Organization Address Council (ASO AC), including overseeing the Global Policy Development Process, advising the ICANN Board on Internet number resource policy, and nominating individuals to serve in key ICANN roles. Any individual residing within the RIPE NCC service region, who has participated in at least three RIPE Meetings, is eligible for nomination, except Regional Internet Registry (RIR) staff members. Self-nominations are permitted. Nominations should include the nominee’s name, country of residence, organisation or employer, email address and motivation for nomination, as well as the name and organisation of the person making the nomination. Please send nominations to nominations(a)ripe.net no later than 23:59 UTC on Wednesday, 30 September 2026. Nominees will need to accept the nomination, provide identification for verification and agree to adhere to the RIPE Code of Conduct by 14 October 2026. The list of confirmed nominees will be published by 15 October 2026.
