[Apologies for duplicate emails] Dear colleagues, The RIPE NCC Survey 2013 is now closed for responses. Over 3,500 people responded to the survey, which is by far the highest number of responses we have received for any of our large-scale surveys. We would like to thank all those who participated - we are sure the feedback will prove invaluable as the RIPE NCC looks to improve its services and form its strategies based on the wishes of the RIPE NCC membership and the Internet community. Next Steps ---------- Over the next three months, the Oxford Internet Institute (OII) will analyse the results of the survey. The OII's detailed report and key findings will be presented at the RIPE 67 Meeting in Athens from 14-18 October 2013. iPad Mini Winners ----------------- Congratulations to Alexander Speransky, who was drawn at random by the OII to win the last iPad Mini. [Apologies for duplicate emails] Dear colleagues, This is a final reminder that you can take the RIPE NCC Survey 2013 until Monday, 24 June at 14:00 UTC. At this point, the Oxford Internet Institute (OII) will close the survey and begin the process of analysing the results. If you have yet to fill out the survey, we ask that you please do so before it closes. The survey is available at: http://www.ripe.net/survey2013 Fifth iPad Mini Winner and Final Prize -------------------------------------- The fifth iPad Mini winner drawn at random by the OII is Khaled Hezam from Yemen. Congratulations Khaled! The last winner will be drawn by the OII from all those who completed the survey once it closes on 24 June. Responses --------- Over 2,000 RIPE NCC members and other interested parties have already completed the survey, giving the OII a huge amount of data with which to conduct their analysis over the Summer months. [Apologies for duplicate emails] Dear colleagues, The RIPE NCC receives a lot of inquiries from people dealing with network abuse, such as spamming, hacking and phishing. While we have several tools available to help victims of network abuse find appropriate contact information, in addition to FAQs and information about the Anti-Abuse Working Group, all of this information was previously scattered across the RIPE NCC website in different places and could be difficult to find. We're happy to announce that we have created a dedicated page about network abuse that contains all the information on this topic that the RIPE NCC has available. We've developed this page in cooperation with the Anti-Abuse Working Group Chairs and we hope that this resource will be helpful to anyone dealing with network abuse, regardless of their technical background. Dear colleagues, Congratulations to Philip Olsson, who completed the RIPE NCC Survey 2013 and was drawn at random by the Oxford Internet Institute to win an iPad Mini. There will be two more draws to win a prize, with the next one taking place on Wednesday, 19 June. All those who have already completed the survey will be placed in the final two prize draws. You can take the survey until 24 June at: http://www.ripe.net/survey2013 The survey is open to RIPE NCC members and other interested parties globally. We conduct these large-scale surveys every two years, and they are extremely important for the RIPE NCC as it looks to improve its services and formulate its strategy for the years to come.
