Dear Matt, I have a question regarding new ticketing system. Some days ago I sent an email and attached a file to my message. I received a receipt of ticket, then the NCC staff member replied to my question and I received a mail that contain a previous email content and a weblink to the file I attached before. The link was active and I was able to download the file. The link points to https://ripencc.zendesk.com/attachments/token/blablabla/?name=filename. The problem I see is that ripencc.zendesk.com is a hostname on the server in a cloud, the network is assigned to an Irish company and it seems that the file storage is not under RIPE NCC's control. This hostname is not reachable over IPv6, but this is not the issue I wish to discuss now. Can you clarify whether e-mail attachments/archives at RIPE NCC are stored at the third party servers? Do you think it is acceptable? CSNOG meeting: Brno, CZ 11-12 June 2018

Dear colleagues, A CSNOG Meeting is a community event where network operators, CDN operators, ISPs, domain registries and other interested parties get together. It is expected that the audience prefer to discuss technical issues and have a chance for talk to each other. We would encourage technical communities both from Czech Republic and Slovakia to join the meeting. The first CSNOG meeting will take place from 11-12 June in Brno, Czech Republic. The CSNOG Programme Committee is looking for speakers for the plenary presentations, panels, workshops and tutorial sessions. The abstracts for plenary presentations, panels, workshops and tutorials should be submitted by 20th April 2018 to be considered as a part of programme. We welcome presentations on the following topics (not limited to): - Key Internet technologies: IP protocols, routing, BGP and DNS - Data centre technologies - Internet governance and regulatory practices - Domain names industry - Data protection (including personal data) - Security issues: DDoS, routing security, DNSSEC - Content delivery networks - Internet peering - Fiber optics If you would like to suggest the presentation, please submit the abstract via the following link: https://csnog.eu/event/1/abstracts/ Please submit your proposal in English, Czech or Slovak language. We will announce the recipient of the award during the RIPE 76 meeting in May 2018. The recipient will be a living person who has made substantial and sustained technical or operational contributions to the development of the Internet in the RIPE NCC service region. Hi Dominic and all, We are no longer PGP-signing our support emails, although we still accept PGP-authenticated updates to the RIPE Database. When we conducted our assessment, we weren't able to find a ticketing system that met our requirements and supported PGP. As the service was being used by a relatively small number of members, we decided that the benefits of the new ticketing system outweighed the PGP-signing service. It is also worth noting that the RIPE NCC public key was never meant for encrypted communication. It was only used for signing emails. However, we didn't notify members that we would not be PGP-signing our emails any more. This was an oversight on our part, and we would like to apologise for this. One might say that since you are the first to notice and report this, almost a month after it expired, perhaps we should abandon PGP as a communication mechanism?
